Notes on the Musma Composition
“Concerto on Air”
Wind quintet and Water. Besides being a composer, I’m also a sailor, which might explain a lot. I see Air and Water as a perfect combination. “Concerto in Air” is a look on the Water from the Air and vice versa. It’s a way to recall the feelings related to these two elements. “In Air” also means that “A” note is the most important. The main features of this “Concerto” are a part of a competition between or cooperation of instruments. It is a classical form of the composition consisting of three movements: Furioso (“Anxiety”) – Tranquillo (“Horizon”) – Presto ben ritmico (“Storm”).
